
The Sue Hall Chapter of the National Art Honor Society is an honorary organization that promotes the visual arts in our school and community. Members are inducted each semester and selections are based on a 90 percent average in art classes, community service, excellent conduct and teacher recommendations. Sophomores through seniors are eligible. Freshman may be inducted at the end of their first year for the fall of their sophomore year. Community service, participation, good grades and good citizenship are required for continued membership.
Ensure that those students who have shown outstanding ability in
art are recognized.
Foster excellence and a dedicated spirit to the pursuit of art.
Further creative abilities and talents of the Society's members,
as well as the school's entire student art enrollment.
Aid members in working toward the attainment of their highest potential
in an art area.
Bring art to the attention of the school and community.
Increase an awareness of art in relation to other areas of school
curriculum.
Further aesthetic awareness in all aspects of the school's total
program.
