Peer Assistance & Leadership

The Grapevine High School PALS is an organization dedicated to helping others.

" Through PALS , I feel that I have been able to help make a difference in many people's lives."
                                  - Cody Koontz

Through PALS , students are taught how important it is to have a friend, and that's why the G.H.S. PALS are dedicated to helping. Throughout the school year, the PALS spent many days at local elementary schools helping mentor students in need, as well as visiting retirement homes, and helping serve senior citizens of the metroplex.
To be a PAL, one must be nominated by students and teachers, write an essay explaining why he or she would be a good PAL, undergo an extensive interview, and sign a pledge promising not to drink, smoke, do drugs, or attend parties where illegal acts are being performed.

The PALS program is a very prestigious program at G.H.S. , and through Pals, lives are being touched.
